Biography

Alex Womacks is an artist working out of Cincinnati, Ohio.  She recently graduated from Miami University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with concentrations in painting and ceramics and a minor in Interactive Media Studies. In 2008, her work was shown in Miami University’s VAC Cleaning Out the Closet, MU 50: A Drawing Exhibition, and B.F.A. Capstone show, Incongruent.  Alex received the Fred and Molly Pye Memorial Scholarship in 2008 as well.  In 2009, her work was shown in Stomaching It, which was held in the Miami Hamilton Downtown Gallery in Hamilton, Ohio.  She will be attending graduate school for painting in the fall of 2009 at the University of Cincinnati.
